1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of itbultra.id (the “Website”) and your participation in ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 (the “Event”).

ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 is organized and managed by the ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 Committee (“Committee”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing the Website, registering for the Event, or participating in any Event activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and any other applicable rules, guidelines, or instructions issued by the Committee.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or participate in the Event.

These Terms should be read together with the applicable Race Guideline, Technical Meeting instructions, registration requirements, and other official information issued by the Committee.

 

2. ABOUT ITB ULTRA MARATHON 2026

ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 is a running event organized as part of the ITB community’s efforts to promote running, community, and meaningful participation.

The main ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 journey covers approximately 180 kilometers from Jakarta to Bandung and is scheduled as part of the Event period from 16–18 October 2026.

The Event may include various participation formats and activities, including individual and relay categories, virtual activities, community participation, and other programs announced through the official Website and communication channels.

The Committee may provide information on the Website regarding:

  • Event categories and participation formats;
  • registration information;
  • race information and guidelines;
  • participant and team information;
  • race results and leaderboards;
  • event documentation;
  • Event announcements and updates; and
  • other activities related to ITB Ultra Marathon 2026.

Event information published on the Website may be updated from time to time to reflect operational requirements or changes determined by the Committee.

 

3. REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Registration

Registration for ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 is conducted through the official registration platform designated by the Committee, including BeyondRun, where applicable.

Participants are responsible for completing the registration process accurately and providing the information required by the registration platform and the Committee.

Registration is considered valid only after the applicable registration requirements and payment, if any, have been successfully completed and confirmed.

3.2 Eligibility

Participants must meet the eligibility requirements applicable to the category in which they register.

Certain categories may have additional requirements relating to age, student status, alumni status, institutional affiliation, team composition, or other criteria.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet the requirements of their selected category.

For categories requiring specific identification or affiliation, including student, alumni, corporate, or intervarsity classifications, participants may be required to provide valid supporting information or documentation.

3.3 Accuracy of Registration Information

Participants must ensure that all information submitted during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Providing false, misleading, invalid, or incomplete information may result in registration being rejected, cancelled, or disqualification from the Event.

The Committee may verify participant information where reasonably necessary to determine eligibility or validate Event results.

3.4 Registration Fees

Applicable registration fees are determined according to the Event category and registration period.

Registration fees, payment methods, and other applicable charges will be communicated through the official registration platform.

Unless otherwise stated by the Committee or required by applicable law, registration fees are non-refundable once registration has been confirmed.

 

4. PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS

Participants agree to:

  • comply with these Terms and all applicable Event requirements;
  • comply with the Race Guideline and official instructions issued by the Committee;
  • provide accurate and valid registration information;
  • comply with instructions from race officials, volunteers, and authorized Event personnel;
  • participate in a responsible and sportsmanlike manner;
  • respect other participants, volunteers, organizers, communities, and members of the public;
  • follow applicable safety and operational requirements; and
  • refrain from conduct that may endanger, disrupt, or negatively affect the Event or other participants.

Participants acknowledge that detailed technical and operational requirements may be communicated through the Race Guideline, Technical Meeting, participant briefings, or other official Event communications.

The Committee reserves the right to take appropriate action, including cancellation of participation or disqualification, where a participant fails to comply with applicable Event requirements.

 

5. EVENT CATEGORIES & PARTICIPATION FORMATS

ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 may offer several participation formats and classifications.

These may include, among others:

5.1 Individual

A participant completes the applicable Event distance independently in accordance with the requirements of the selected category.

5.2 Relay

Relay categories allow participants to complete the Event distance as a team.

Available relay formats may include:

  • Relay 2;
  • Relay 4;
  • Relay 8; and
  • Relay 16.

Team members must comply with the applicable team composition and participation requirements communicated by the Committee.

5.3 Intervarsity Runners

The Intervarsity Runners classification is intended for individual participants or teams whose members are alumni of universities other than ITB and who are affiliated with the same university, subject to the applicable Event requirements.

5.4 Corporate Runners

The Corporate Runners classification is intended for individual participants or teams whose members come from the same corporation, state-owned enterprise (BUMN), private company, or government institution, subject to the applicable Event requirements.

5.5 Virtual Participation

The ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 series may also include virtual running activities and challenges.

Virtual activities may have separate registration periods, submission requirements, categories, classifications, and leaderboard mechanisms.

Participants in virtual activities are required to follow the applicable rules and submission procedures communicated by the Committee and/or the designated platform.

The Committee reserves the right to verify submitted results and take appropriate action where results are found to be inaccurate, invalid, or inconsistent with the applicable requirements.

 

6. RESULTS, LEADERBOARDS & AWARDS

Official Event results may be published through the Website, official Event platforms, leaderboards, social media, or other official communication channels.

Published information may include participant names, categories, team or community affiliations, finishing times, rankings, and other information relevant to the Event.

The Committee may conduct verification of results before or after publication.

If an error, violation, or inaccurate submission is identified, the Committee may correct the results, adjust rankings, or disqualify a participant or team where appropriate.

Certain Event categories may provide awards or trophies, including awards for the fastest eligible team within designated classifications.

Eligibility for awards is subject to the applicable category requirements and verification by the Committee.

The Committee’s determination regarding official Event results and awards shall be final, subject to applicable law and any specific appeal or correction mechanism communicated by the Committee.

 

7. EVENT CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT & CANCELLATION

The Committee reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Event where necessary, including changes to:

  • Event schedules;
  • routes or locations;
  • categories or participation formats;
  • operational procedures;
  • registration arrangements;
  • race requirements; or
  • other Event-related arrangements.

Changes may be made due to operational considerations, safety requirements, weather conditions, public authority requirements, venue availability, or other circumstances affecting the Event.

The Committee may postpone, suspend, modify, or cancel all or part of the Event where circumstances reasonably require such action.

This may include circumstances beyond the Committee’s reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, public emergencies, government restrictions, security concerns, infrastructure disruption, or other force majeure events.

Where material changes occur, the Committee will make reasonable efforts to communicate the changes through official Event channels.

Any refund, transfer, or other participant arrangement resulting from a postponement or cancellation will be determined in accordance with the applicable Event policy and applicable law.

 

8. PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 Event Documentation

ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 may be documented through photography, video recording, interviews, and other forms of media.

By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge that they may appear in Event documentation.

Such materials may be used by the Committee for legitimate Event-related purposes, including:

  • Event documentation;
  • Website content;
  • social media content;
  • promotional materials;
  • publications;
  • reports; and
  • communications relating to ITB Ultra Marathon and its activities.

The processing and use of personal data associated with such materials are further addressed in the ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 Privacy Policy.

8.2 Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its content, including logos, names, designs, graphics, photographs, videos, written materials, and other Event-related materials, are owned by or used with the authorization of the relevant rights holder.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, commercially exploit, or otherwise use such materials without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

The ITB Ultra Marathon name, logo, visual identity, and other protected Event materials may not be used in a manner that suggests unauthorized sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or commercial association.

 

9. LIABILITY & PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participation in ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 involves physical activity and may involve risks associated with running and outdoor activities.

Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical condition and determining whether they are sufficiently prepared to participate in the Event.

Participants are expected to follow applicable safety instructions and immediately inform Event personnel if they experience an emergency or condition that prevents them from safely continuing.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Committee shall not be responsible for loss, damage, injury, or other consequences arising from circumstances outside the Committee’s reasonable control or from a participant’s failure to comply with Event requirements.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and equipment unless otherwise expressly stated by the Committee.

 

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

The Website may contain links to or references to third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services.

These may include registration platforms, fundraising platforms, social media platforms, or other services used in connection with ITB Ultra Marathon 2026.

Third-party services operate independently and may be subject to their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

The Committee does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of third-party services.

Where registration or other Event-related activities are conducted through a third-party platform, participants may also be required to comply with the terms and conditions of that platform.

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or participation in ITB Ultra Marathon 2026 shall, where possible, first be resolved amicably through discussion between the relevant parties.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be resolved through the applicable dispute-resolution mechanism and competent courts in accordance with Indonesian law.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that may be available to participants under applicable law.

 

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The Committee may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Event, Website, applicable requirements, or applicable laws and regulations.

Any updated version will be published on the Website with the relevant effective date or last updated date.

Participants and Website users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the Website or participation in the Event after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
